One of the best beaches in the U.S. if it is not the best. The incredible thing here is sand which was very soft texture, snowy, and powdery white. The wave is not ideal for surfing, though, it was great for sea bathing and aquatic sports. The water was crystal clear and pure. It was considered better than Clearwater, by me, as fewer visitors, more peaceful with small but beautiful beach town, and free parking

I have been going to Siesta Key beach for almost 20 years. I Love Siesta Key Beach! The improvements (Handicap access to the beach, better volley ball nets, nicer concessions, a nicer playground, picnic tables under the trees, better rinse stations, more parking) they have made the last few years have only made it better! The beach is still the same white powder sand which is kept clean. There are life guards there too. No wonder it’s been voted the #1 US beach multiple times!

Voted 2016 top #1 beach in the US, even over Hawaii. White sand beach, SUPER clean, friendly people. Public wash stations, changing rooms and restrooms. Go to Gilligan’s restaurant just up the road, local music, great food. There are cute local shops for souvenirs of all prices and quality. We normally don’t like the beach, we love Siesta Key, we’ve been there 2 yrs in a row and will most certainly be back.

Such a beautiful place, would seriously recommend over other beaches in this area. I’ve never seen a more beautiful sunset here, and the sand is clean, fine, and white. I hope to return here in the future. Great places to eat nearby. Not usually too busy.
